Environment Conservation

Absolutely. We welcome skilled volunteers (trainers, health workers, agronomists, photographers, translators) as well as corporate and NGO partners. Our conservation work includes seasonal tree-planting drives, community clean-up campaigns, plastic-waste collection and recycling, and training farmers in climate-smart agriculture (mulching, composting, agroforestry). We also mentor youth eco-clubs in schools so the next generation grows up with strong environmental stewardship habits.

We operate community kitchens and school-feeding programs that serve balanced, locally sourced meals to children and nursing mothers. Our nutrition educators run weekly workshops on meal planning with affordable staple foods, kitchen-garden setup, and hygiene. We also partner with local health centres to screen children for malnutrition and refer severe cases for treatment.

Every donation is channelled into practical skills-training workshops (tailoring, hairdressing, catering, agribusiness), starter-tool kits, and supervised apprenticeships. Graduates are then linked to micro-finance partners and local markets so they can launch their own small businesses, create jobs, and lift their households out of poverty.

ANITHA CBC focuses its resources and programs on three core pillars: Women Empowerment, which equips single mothers and vulnerable women with marketable skills and economic independence; Malnutrition, which delivers meals, nutrition education, and food security to under-served families; and Environment Conservation, which trains communities in sustainable practices such as tree planting, waste management, and climate-smart agriculture.
